FIN CH FIN JW-06 Foogel Scirocco & Hellas Kind Of Magic
Hyacinth "SINTTI
" Siljander is a grizzle & tan borderterrier bitch, who is officially known as Hellas Kind Of Magic. She is already our fourth border and the first imported one. She was born at the 21 of May 2009 at http://www.kennelhellas.com/ in Bjoerklinge, Sweden, kept by Helena "Leni" Palm-Araviadis.
The reason we ended up having Sintti in our family is her father "Tarmo". A few years before Sintti arrived we saw Tarmo at the Helsinki INT Dog Show. He was standing with his owner Jatta (http://www.irades.fi/) by the ring side. Suddenly, beeing on such a goog mood, he threw himself on his back in the middle of all the other dogs, males and females. "What a happy fellow, who is so sure of himself, that can do that amongst all the other dogs!", we thought. Wouldn´t it be lovely to have his puppy in the future...?!
Reading through both Finnish and Swedish borderpages we then a few years later discovered that Tarmo had a date at Kennel Hellas with Debbie..."and the rest is history!"
Our beloved Donna left us on a beautiful summer day in June -09. For a month Hillo-lagotto was our sole dog and, I must admit, he really enjoyed himself during that time! Still, we had a feeling, that something was missing in our life...
Sinttis arrival was a HUGE shock to Hillo but in a few days he, as did we, fell in love with Sintti
.
At the moment Sintti is 4 months old, so it is possible to make some kind of conclusions on her character already:
First of all - Sintti loves all human beings, big and small, men and women, kids and adults...she wants to kiss and say Hi to everyone!
She is brave in a way that, we think, is very typical for all the terriers; She is more curious than spooky about all the new phenomena in her life but she also knows when it is better to get out of Hillo´s way...
She is a quick learner like all the borders, you don´t have to command her very often, but if you do, she can also mope...for about three seconds
!
She is very independent - already as a puppy she spends lots of time by herself at our backyard, amusing herself with toys or just enjoying the last warmth of the autumn sun. But, as soon as she smells FOOD
, she returns to as like a lightning!
Actually, you could sum this up with one sentence:
She is A BORDER TERRIER
!
Yes, we can totally agree with
Ann-Roslin Williams:
"Once a borderterrier, always a borderterrier"!
Sinttis parents and siblings and her pedigree you find in the Photo Gallery!
